Next Steps for Improvements/Enhancements

Below please find a list of enhancements/improvements for the simulator toolkit which are conceptualized for student's project work and which partly also are suited for topics of diploma theses or seminar papers.

Project:
Enhance OSK with a dummy mass satellite deployed from the rocket.

Project:
Enhance the OSK Infrastructure with a rocket attitude control.
Enhance the rocket model with attitude control functionalities, such as attitude control thusters or pivotable engine.

Project:
Modeling an onboard computer to control the rocket propulsion.
Diploma Thesis available in Stuttgart.

Project:
Enhance the OSK Infrastructure with a satellite model being deployed from the rocket.


Project:
Enhance the Java MMI Prototype.
Enhance MMI to be able to startup simulator from MMI and to select simulator input files via MMI.

Project:
Integrate the Java based XML Editor into the Java MMI Prototype from XML-Input.
Build a system flowsheet editor for the OpenSimKit input XML file decks based on open source libraries such as JHotDraw.

Project:
Integrate the Power Model Components with OSK Kernel.
Adapt the power model equipment components to read the OSK XML file format and to interface S/C kernel according to OSK modeling standard.

Project:
Start preparing software models for application of a central DEQ solver.
Adapt the model architecture to register derivatives at the solver and to receive back state data.
